This lake of 13 hectare gives shelter to a number of birds including Mandarínönd, Stokkönd, Urtönd, Dverggoði, Toppgoði, Sefhæna, Bleshæna and since recently Kúhegri. Good for easy birdwatching, take nice pictures and a stroll around the lake. Also a chance on Bláþyrill and Hrossagaukur.
