Description
In Marais Alcalin de Chicheboville-Bellengreville around a hundred species of birds have been recorded. Breeding birds include Bláþyrill, Síkjasöngvari, Seftittlingur, Brúnheiðir and Keldusvín. As a migratory stopover, Gjóður and Sefþvari are noted. In the woodlands Stubbspæta and Laufglói are regularly observed.

Access
Park in the hamlet of Chicheboville (parking lot of the old town hall) and follow the Tethys path which will take you into the marsh. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking. The walking route indicated on the map is about 4 km.
