Description
Gravière de Fleurville is interesting for migratory birds and especially passerines. It is a good site to observe Pungmeisa, Seftittlingur but also Hvítstorkur. In the immediate vicinity of the gravel pit there is a large island in the Saône which is home to a mixed colony of herons composed of Kúhegri, Bjarthegri and Nátthegri.

Le plan d'eau est surtout intéressant pour les oiseaux migrateurs et notamment les passereaux. C'est un bon site pour observer la Pungmeisa, le Seftittlingur mais aussi la Hvítstorkur. À proximité immédiate de la gravière on trouve une grande île sur la Saône qui abrite une colonie mixte d'ardéidés composée d' Kúhegri, Bjarthegri et Nátthegri.

You can access the site by the D906 but also by the towpath which passes through the port of Brouard. Click on the P in the map for directions. The walk indicated on the map is about 2,5 km one way.
