Description
Etang David is a place filled with bush birds, especially in springtime: Hettusöngvari, Næturgali, Turtildúfa are easy to find, as well as Bláþyrill and Kólfönd on the pond. Woodpeckers can be found on deciduous trees: Barrspæta, Stubbspæta, Grænspæta, Svartspæta.
The place is also a nesting area for herons: Nátthegri, Gráhegri, Kúhegri can be spotted from the pond side.
Some raptors: Vatnagleða, Gunnfálki and with chance Svölugleða and Snákerna are easy to spot hunting around.
Unusual birds like Pungmeisa are possible during a walk across this picturesque little place.

Access
From St Just St Rambert Follow the direction "Chambles". After the lights, turn right to the signposted road "Etang David", unitl the; car park. The entrance of the site is across the raos along the canal
