Description

In the heart of the Plaine du Forez on the banks of the Loire lies the Ecopôle du Forez. A great place for birdwatching. Old gravel pits converted into ponds and alluvial forest with trails and hides. There are 5 hides and also a natural reserve exhibition. Guided tours are available. Birds you can see here are Laufglói, Bláþyrill, Bjarthegri, Vatnagleða, Bæjasvala, Bakkasvala, Urtönd, Kólfönd, Skeiðönd and Skutulönd.

Depuis quelques années l'emplacement n'est plus libre d'accès; entrée payante. De surcroît ce n'est ouvert que l'après-midi des mercredi, samedi, dimanche, vacances scolaires.
