The Bataille pass is located at 1,313 m above sea level. From September to November, a multitude of passerines pass through the pass. Landsvala and Bæjasvala are the most abundant. Also Bjargfeti, Urðartítla, Næfurfinka. In any season, you can observe the local fauna: Gæsagammur, Lambagammur, Gullörn, Förufálki.

Access
The Col de la Bataille is accessible by car via the departmental D 199 coming from Léoncel. The migration is observed from the top of the tunnel (September), right in the center of the pass (October). For parking see the P on the map.
