Description
Even though the pond is small and often filled with foliage during the hotter months, it's worth a look if you are in the area as it's possible to see some unexpected nice birds in the area. Water fowl like Stokkönd and Urtönd have been seen feeding in the water with their young and Þyrnisvarri likes to hunt dragonflies and other insects in the area. Hrossagaukur has been seen by the pond in spring time and a bit rarer sighting of a Blábrystingur have been spotted there during the migration season.
