Description
This area along the Vltava River is not a very beautiful place, but you can find some interesting birds there and there are many ducks and swans on this part of the river. Mandarínönd is common. Also common are Skúfönd, Dverggoði, Hnúðsvanur, Stokkönd, Hettumáfur, Bláþyrill, Húsaskotta and Grænspæta. In winter Klapparmáfur and Dílaskarfur are regulars. If you have a bit of luck, you can also find Gargönd. In the winter, some rarer ducks like Skeiðönd, Rauðhöfðaönd, Hvinönd, Gulönd or Kólfönd can be found there.

This area of the river is located 8 km south from the city center of Prague. Easy to reach from Prague by tram.
