Description
Dubový Rybník is a shallow pond where rare birds like Haförn or Gjóður sometimes show up. Among the breeding birds are Brúnheiðir, Hrossagaukur, Reyrsöngvari and Gráhegri. In February and March, when they arrive from wintering grounds there is a chance to see Grátrana. Focus your binoculars on the reed beds and surrounding meadows to find them. All year round you can watch the hunting efforts of the Bláþyrill or Gráhegri on the pond.
