On Lake Tribalj you can see a lot of water birds. For example Bláþyrill, Hnúðsvanur, Klapparmáfur and several species of ducks, grebes and herons. The site is also good for raptors like Músvákur, Sparrhaukur and Brúnheiðir. You can also observe Maríuerla, Húsaskotta, Kjarnbítur, Grænspæta and Barrspæta and if you are lucky Úfur.

Lake Tribalj is located just north of the village of Tribalj. Access to the lake is really easy as a road passes near the lake and you can park almost at the spot for birding. Click on the P in the map for directions.
