Ideal recreation area in a wooded setting. You can make nice walks around 5 ponds.
Zoet Water includes five ponds, a recreation park and walking trails. The valley used to be a marsh, but ponds were dug here in the 17th century. They are separated from each other by dams, but are connected to each other and to the Vaalbeek by means of an overflow system. You can easily find the birds like Hnúðsvanur, Toppgoði, Bleshæna, Dílaskarfur, Grágæs, Skúfönd, Skutulönd and Gráhegri observe closely on the water. Occasional visitors in the past were Ryðönd and Mandarínönd.

Ample parking options nearby. Hiking trails, cycling routes are well marked.
