Small green area with meadows, forest and most notably some marshland around a number of fishing ponds.
The ponds of Zevenbronnen are located in between a large residential area to the north, farmland to the south and woodland to the east and west. The site attracts a great number of birds. Breeding birds include Fauskspæta, Keldusvín, Straumerla, Gáshaukur, Svartspæta and Bláþyrill . During migration, rarities like Gjóður can be seen using Zevenbronnen as a staging area.
De vijvers van Zevenbronnen are located 15 km south of Brussels. The best way to explore the site is on foot. On most trails, cycling is not allowed or simply impossible. Cars can be parked in the street. Click on the P in the map for directions. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 2 km.
