Description

The area of Romboutswerve is part of a large meadow complex close to the sea. In the bumpy grassland there are also numerous drainage ditches. In this area migratory and wintering birds such as Heiðagæs, Blesgæs and Rauðhöfðaönd can be seen. Among the breeding birds in the area are Vepja , Jaðrakan and Brandönd.

Access

Train to Bruges and then Bus 43 / Bruges - Damme - Oostkerke. By car: there is free parking space on the outskirts of the little town Damme. It takes only a short walk from the parking to reach the area. So from the parking you can walk or take a bicycle.
