Description
The Blarewater is a small forest and scrubland area where you can find species such as Glókollur, Gullkollur and all the species of tits. On the water you can find Skúfönd, Gargönd, Bleshæna, Stokkönd and Skeiðönd in small numbers in winter. The dead wood provides Barrspæta that you can see up close. Hettusöngvari is present in the rough undervegetation.

Access
The Blarewater is located on the river Bovenschelde near the village of Hermelgem. You can reach the area via the public road under the Zingem bridge. The short circular walk shown on the map is only 0.5 km.
