Description
Großwilfersdorf Naturquartier is a nature compensation area located on the site of a former gravel pit. Thanks to targeted measures, the area has become a habitat for various bird species. Over 100 bird species have been recorded. Water buffalo and Angus cattle are grazing the area to keep it open. The nature reserve features a nature trail and a viewing platform.
