Description

Großkirchheim is a village within the Mölltal Valley, and part of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The area has green meadows, forested mountain slopes and on the bottom of the valley the Möll River. You can find birds of prey, forest birds such as Barrspæta, Glókollur, and various tit species such as Toppmeisa. Along the Möll River you can find Straumerla and Fossbúi.

Großkirchheim is a located in the Austrian state of Carinthia, about 45 km south of the Großglockner High Alpine Road. Press P on the map for directions. There are many roads, paths and trails to explore the area around Großkirchheim on foot or by bike.
