Description

The Baumwipfelweg is a treetop path where you can walk at eye level with the birds. It is a path through mixed forest and at the end of the path you have a beautiful view over the fields and the cultivated landscape. Among the birds you can encounter along the way and in the tree tops are Kjarnbítur, Turtildúfa, Laufglói, Herfugl, Mistilþröstur, Grænspæta, Svartspæta, Barrspæta, Hnotigða, Laufmeisa, Toppmeisa and Barrmeisa.

Access

It is best to drive directly to the Baumwipfelweg car park. Click on the P in the map to get directions. On the way there you should already look out for Herfugl. The entrance fee for the treetop path is 6 euros.
