Birds that top the list in Thursden Valley are Red Grouse, Holló and the laughing Zöld küllo. One minute your on open barren moorland the next your in the woods. Among the other birds you can encounter are Csigaforgató, Gyöngybagoly, vörös vércse, Mezei pacsirta, Réti pityer, Nagy bukó, cigánycsuk, Erdei pinty, Nagy póling, Réti fülesbagoly and Kuvik.

Access
Thursden Valley is located northeast of Burnley. You can park near the Coldwell reservoirs. Click on the P in the map for directions, Or you can make the journey big and come from either Widdop or Hurstwood. Best to explore the area by foot. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 1,8 mile (3 km).
