4 mile path along old railway line by a river. Many summer migrants can be seen. Winter visitors also common.
Wooded valley with decidious and managed coniferious woodland mixed with small wildlife fields left to grow wild flowers. Sirhowy river running through brings an added interest. Many bird species can be seen all year round. Long flat path runs alongside the river on an old railway line, used by walkers and cyclists but paths run off this into the woodland which is the best place for birding. Paths can be quite steep running up the valley. Good place for bats. A couple of villages close by which many residents feed the birds and wildlife increasing the number of different types found.
Follow the signs for the Full Moon recycling centre which in on the roundabout of the A467 and B4251, the car park is just past the recycling centre. Click on the P in the map for directions. Also at Wyllie just off the B4251. Walking is the only way to explore this area.
