Description

Around the Yedikır Dam, there is a plain where the wintering Réti fülesbagoly population occurs. Also, the wintering Nagy lilik flocks occur around the dam. Beside, the Pártásdaru breeds close to the dam which is the modern breeding couple of the species in Turkey. Ugartyúk can be seen in the northern part of the lake in the flat dusty areas. You can see Kis lile, Rétisas, Fürj, Cigányréce, Barátréce and many more. Also, this area always has a possibility to see rare species there such as Apácalúd which is the second record for Turkey. Uhu can be seen there which would be an uncommon record of the species. Therefore, it is obvious that you should go to the dam area to do birdwatching if you can.
