Description

If you want to see a typical wetland in the western part of Turkey, Lake Azap is a good place to visit. The lake has reedbeds and the surrounding area of the lake is also nice to find some additional bird species. Birds you can observe in the area include Borzas gödény, Cigányréce, Vörös ásólúd, Jégmadár, Kis vöcsök, Bölömbika and törpegém.

Access

Lake Azap is located north of Lake Bafa and about 70 km southwest of the city of Aydin. By car is the easiest way to reach Lake Azap. Press P on the map for directions to the viewing platform.
