Description
The Alpnacherried at Alpnachstad is characterized by various pond-like areas that are easy to observe. Some of them have shallow access points, which is interesting for photographers. In addition to a large colony of geese, there are various species of native songbirds.
Breeding birds include Kis vöcsök, Búbos vöcsök, Szürke gém, Barna kánya, Nyári lúd, Énekes nádiposzáta, Nádirigó, Vízirigó, Guvat, Nádi tücsökmadár, and Nádi sármány. Regular guests during migration period are Bölömbika, Kék vércse, Kis lile, Barna rétihéja, Sárszalonka, Erdei cankó, billegetőcankó, and cigánycsuk .
During winter, Kontyos réce, Barátréce, and Viharsirály can be expected.
