Description

Välen nature reserve has an open agricultural landscape on a shallow bay. The coastal meadows have been restored and are grazed by animals. Easily accessible and with a bird observation tower that is weelchair friendly. In the meadows where cows graze and on the waters of the bay you can see birds such as Nyári lúd, Apácalúd, Kanadai lúd, Csigaforgató, Erdei cankó, Szürke cankó, Bíbic and Kis lile.

Access

Välen nature reserve is located a few kilometers south of Frölunda Torg shopping center. You can go by public transport, the bus stops near the tower (Take bus 92 from Frölundatorg towards Näset and get off at Kannebäck). There is a parking lot next to the tower. There is a long and wheelchair friendly ramp up to the observation tower.
