Description
Store Mosse National Park is home to breeding Daru, Énekes hattyú, Fekete harkály, and Kis sárszalonka. The marsh has breeding waders, wildfowl, and numerous warblers in the woodland including Kerti geze. There are also Grouse, such as Siketfajd, Nyírfajd, and Császármadár, as well as Búbos cinege. Kävsjön in the middle of the national park is a famous bird lake and easy accessible on foot. You can make a circular walk of 14 km around the lake or overlook the area from the watch tower near the visitor center.

Access
From Varnamo, go North but as soon as you get to the first round about take the first exit and head for Hillerstop. After 8 miles of driving you will see the car park. At lake Kävsjön is the main entrance to the national park with visitor centre, bird towers and trails. There is also a good carpark. Store Mosse has more than 40 kilometers of footpaths available. The different routes through the park vary from 300 meters to 14 kilometers.
