Along this part of the river Götaälv the bird life is rich. Especially in birds that thrive on wet meadows and on the river. The Rétisas usually patrols along the river bank every day. Among the other birds you can encounter are Réti pityer, Barna rétihéja, Sárszalonka, sárga billegető, Barkóscinege and Daru.

Access
The easiest way to get here is by turning the E45 at the exit to Klädkällaren (exit 83). Parking is available adjacent to the area. It is also possible to get here via local transport, stop Stora Viken. A spotting scope is recommended for viewing from the bird tower, but there is also a grove south of the tower where binoculars will do.
