Description
The final part of Nyköpingsån river flows through the city of Nyköping. Along the river there is a very good walking path on both sides. Mostly functionally adapted. The best time to visit is during autumn, winter and spring. In the part from the harbor basin and upstream to Korsbron, there is no ice for the most part in winter and can Nagy bukó, Kontyos réce and Kerceréce be observed. On the river's edge Szürke gém are often standing. At the rapids you can find Vízirigó and Jégmadár. On the stretch from Folkunga Bridge to Storhusfallet, there is also a point for Vízirigó, Jégmadár and hegyi billegető. From Storhusfallet to Stadsbron are mostly Tőkés réce, Kontyos réce and Kerceréce. In the spring, the harbor basin is one of the places where the first Dankasirály, Küszvágó csér and other gulls and terns appear.
