Description
The Lillfjärden lake is primarily known for its geese. Apácalúd, Nyári lúd, and Kanadai lúd all breed. The lake also holds the entire swedish non-breeding population of Kis lilik. Other geese like Nagy lilik, Vetési lúd, rövidcsőrű lúd can often be found. Some years Tundrai vetési lúd and Örvös lúd are also found during migration periods.
The lakes rocky coast is also often home to waders like Füstös cankó, Piroslábú cankó, Kis lile (breeds), Csigaforgató (breeds), and Pajzsoscankó. The lake holds large amounts of Tőkés réce and smaller amounts of other dabbling ducks. Even species which are rare in northern areas like Kendermagos réce, Kanalas réce and Böjti réce. Smaller amounts of diving ducks can often be found. Wintering Csonttollú and Nagy pirók are often found. Although the numbers vary widely.

Access
The lake lies directly north to the center of Hudiksvall. There are many places to park the car. Click on the P in the map to get directions. You can make a circular walk around the lake (2,5 km).
