Description

The focus of the conservation program for Halltorps Hage nature reserve is to promote the growth of old decidious forest and creating suitable habitat for endangered beetles. This makes it an atractive area for woodpeckers like Fekete harkály, Kis fakopáncs and Zöld küllo. This forest is also a good location to find Örvös légykapó and occasionaly Kis légykapó.

The nature reserve is located next to the Baltic Sea, so some shore species can be seen like billegetőcankó, Csigaforgató and Rétisas.

There are no bird towers or specifically good birding spots. There are however lots of trails to explored the area. Scope can be useful to watch the shore birds.
