Description
Fysingen nature reserve has almost 100 breeding species and is a popular birding destination for it's waders, geese and other waterbirds. But also to see birds of prey. The beach meadows with mighty reed belts are bird protection areas and also rich in birds.
Barna rétihéja can be seen flying low over the reeds, but you can also see birds of prey such as Kabasólyom, vörös vércse, Gatyás ölyv and Halászsas. The Rétisas has its nest on the island Stora Kyngan in the middle of the lake. You can also hear the honking of Bölömbika and the Nagy fülemüle sings through the night. Other nice birds you might see are Karmazsinpirók, Kerceréce, Kis bukó, Daru, Nádirigó, Pajzsoscankó and Füstös cankó.
