Mountain trail through large beech forest in Parque Natural de Urbasa-Andía. Good for woodpeckers, forest birds and also a viewpoint with birds of prey.
This mountain trail in Parque Natural de Urbasa-Andía runs through a very important area of beech forests. It is a linear route (3,8 km one way and back) where you will find predominantly forest species. Ideal for sightings of Nagy fakopáncs and Zöld küllo. The end of the trail is a panoramic area where it is advisable to use the telescope for raptor sightings. For example Fakó keselyű and Szirti sas.

Espagnol: El itinerario de los montañeros se encuentra situado dentro del Parque Natural de Urbasa-Andía en la zona pirenaica de la Comunidad foral. Gran zona de hayedos. Se trata de una zona de hayedos muy importante, ideal para avistamiento de Nagy fakopáncs, Zöld küllo . Es un recorrido lineal donde encontraremos especies forestales predominantemente. El final del recorrido es una zona panoramica donde es recomendable hacer uso del telescopio para avistamiento de rapaces.
In order to access the route, you must follow the NA-718 road, towards Zudaire-Olazagutía. There is a designated parking area just at kilometer 31.5, next to the park's Interpretation Center. This location provides information about the route, in addition to others that can also be done within this area. This is the route marked in green. The area must be explored on foot, it is very well signposted and is 3.8 km long. It is a linear path.

Espagnol: Para poder acceder a la ruta, se debe seguir la carretera NA-718, dirección Zudaire-Olazagutía. Hay una zona habilitada de aparcamiento justo en el kilómetro 31.5, al lado del Centro de Interpretación del parque. Este emplazamiento facilita información sobre la ruta, además de otras que también se pueden realizar dentro de este paraje. Se trata de la ruta señalizada en color verde. La zona debe explorarse a pie, está muy bien señalizada y tiene una duración de 3,8 km. Se trata de una ruta lineal.
The route has 3 stages. The first one that starts at the interpretation center where there are wooden tables and there is an extensive meadow. The second stage where you cross a beech forest. And the last stage, which is a perfect panoramic area to spot birds of prey. In the link below you can download a pdf of the route.
