Description
The footpath is along a part ancient thoroughfare on the South West coast of Menorca. It is along a rocky limestone shore with a wide variety of sea birds. The Isla de Aire can be seen from all parts of the walk and is an important migratory bird site in spring and autumn. This walk has a wide variety of marine birds such as kőforgató, Kis póling and Üstökös kárókatona. Other birds are seen in the sheltered cove at Cala Alcafar such as flycatchers, Kék kövirigó and vörös vércse. Watch for lizards and wild tortoise on your walk.

Parking is available in Punt Prima and Cala Alcafar. Buses from the main city of Mahon link with both ends of the walk.

This is a largely unknown walk outside this area. It has beautiful harbours, beaches, rocky oucrops and martello towers. The bird life is probably best observed in the spring and autumn when there are many migrant birds.
