Description
The small Puebla campsite is situated on the Embalse de José Torán. This reservoir is located on the bird migration route to Tarifa. As spring progresses, a large part of the reservoir dries up, allowing you to make beautiful walks inside the reservoir. Especially during the autumn migration the (empty) reservoir is visited by hundreds of Parti lile and Kis lile, 3 species of sárga billegető, countless Vörhenyes fecske, as well as szirtifecske, Molnárfecske, partifecske and Füsti fecske. Búbos banka can be seen in large numbers. kuhi hunts every day, often with 2 or 3 individuals.
In spring and summer the campsite has breeding Tövisszúró gébics, Házi rozsdafarkú, Kerti rozsdafarkú, Kormos légykapó, Szürke légykapó, sivatagi őrgébics, berki veréb, 4 species of tits, Nagy fakopáncs, Kis fakopáncs and Zöld küllo. The ibériai sas and Fakó keselyű breed in the vicinity of the campsite. Kígyászölyv, Törpesas and Halászsas are also frequently seen, as are Barna kánya and Vörös kánya.
Located between Seville and Cordoba, the small campsite is an excellent place to stay surrounded by nature. There are a huge variety of birds to spot on and around the campsite. If you stay for a few days, you can easily see 80 species of birds up close.
