Plans de Sió is a large steppe-type area, dominated by single-crop cereal farming, located in the Segarra region. It is a dry landscape with some shrubs or scrub. Steppe bird species, such as Hamvas rétihéja, Reznek and Ugartyúk breed in the area, but can be hard to find. The more common birds include vörös fogoly, Fakó keselyű, Kígyászölyv, Törpesas, Vörös kánya, Búbos banka, sivatagi őrgébics, Kalandrapacsirta, vörös vércse and Sordély. Sometimes ibériai sas is observed.

Plans de Sió - Font de Queralt is located between Lleida and Manresa. You can enter the area through two entrances. Click on the P in the map fo directions.
