Very pleasant and solitary place located on the junction of the basin with the river Guadalquivir.
Esclusa de Sevilla (the Seville Lock) is a place close to the city but quite "wild". In the close surroundings there are different habitats, such as the dock, the river, some forest and uncultivated areas with shrubs. You can see waders, herons, gulls, terns, waterfowl, and hopefully Halászsas.

Getting there from Seville is very simple, you just have to follow the road to the lock. It can also be accessed from the left bank (to the east) of the lock but it is much longer. There it is advisable to park your car somewhere off the road as it is a place of strategic interest (and there is a military base nearby) and the presence of people with cameras is not always welcome. Caution is advised. The area can be reached very easily by bicycle.

Nearby there is a pond surrounded by eucalyptus trees (between the base of the Copero and the river) where there are many ducks. Going west you will cross a small meadow and there are more eucalyptus forests where birds of prey can be seen.
