Description

The Boumort National Game Reserve, a protected area since 1991, is located on a site of more than 13,000 hectares in the western Catalan pre-Pyrenees. Boumort is the only area in Europe where the 4 vultures of Europe breed. The Vulture Hide attracts a spectacular array of vultures. Fakó keselyű (350+), Barátkeselyű, Dögkeselyű and saskeselyű. Plus Barna kánya, Vörös kánya and Holló. Also Red Foxes and Red Deer.

Access

You need a permit to visit the hide and will be driven to it by a Park Guide. Contact: Boumort National Game Reserve, C/ Can Farga, 4, 25620 Tremp. Tel. 973 654 716. E-mail: rncboumort@gencat.cat

The Guide will collect you in the morning and take you to the hide and return in the late afternoon to take you back to your accommodation in a village nearby. The hide has a toilet.
