Old gravel pits in Bogdanovica on the left bank of Ub River.
Old gravel pits and brick factory in Bogdanovica village are turned into several ponds on the left bank of Ub river. The small artificial water reservoirs now attract numerous waterbirds, like Szürke gém, Nagy kócsag, Tőkés réce, Szárcsa, Vízityúk, Kis kárókatona, and others. Surrounding the gravel pits is agricultural land with Holló and Egerészölyv. The gravel pits are some winters visited by rare birds like Vörösnyakú vöcsök and Pásztorgém.
Access is from Bogdanovica village some 2 km north of Ub town following the regional road Ub - Obranovac. The asphalt road leads to the Ub fire station. Near the fire station is its parking place, but do not park there but on its side, as fire station's parking place is reserved for firemen and fire engines. Click P on the map for directions.
