Access by car from Cascais on the road to Guincho beach. Park the car by the small road to the lighthouse. There is also a bus connecting these two places, with a stop just by the Cape.

Late afternoon is not a good time to go, as you are always in backlight looking towards the sun. Rare and vagrant ocean birds can be seen, particularly after storms.
