Easily accessible resting place for big groups of Nyári lúd. Well-kept reeds (pruned in spring) with reed birds like Nádi tücsökmadár and Kékbegy.
Struga Średzka is a gathering place for over a thousand Nyári lúd. Lots of reed birds. Kékbegy can be observed on a regular basis. Some Barna rétihéja. Also many Pajzsoscankó, some Piroslábú cankó, many Bíbic, Nagy kócsag and various ducks (Nyílfarkú réce, Böjti réce, Csörgo réce). The place is not visited by many people and very quiet. Great place to enjoy bird watching. Also Búbos banka can be spotted.
The easiest way is to reach the village of Kromolice by car. Park your car at the end of the village at the bend. From there, walk along the path between the field and the reeds. Turn right and follow the path for approximately 2 km. Return the same road or through the meadows to the Szczodrzykowo Reservoir. (Note: ditches cross meadows and fields).
By train from Poznań, you will get to Pierzchno station (marked with a star on the map). From there, about 2 km on foot (to the right after leaving the station, turn left and left again - the village of Kromolice).
In the village of Kromolice, it is worth to walk to the playground and to pass to its end. There are ponds formed in the meadows in spring that are interesting for birding.
