Rezerwat Kwiecewo covers an area of 110 hectares and Its purpose is to preserve the floodplain for numerous species of wetland birds. It is an important resting and feeding place for birds, as well as an important nesting site for birds associated with aquatic habitats. The shallow pool is surrounded by periodically flooded wet meadows. Also reed belts and arable fields. There is a small forest complex with high ornithological value. The site is very important for breeding birds, including 130 pairs of kormos szerkő. Other birds you can observe in the area are Daru, Rétisas, békászó sas, fehérszárnyú szerkő and Fekete gólya.
