Periodically flooded meadows near the village of Mrzezino on the Baltic Sea.
The Beka reserve includes marshy salt meadows, meadows that are changing wet and sedge thickets, as well as rushes and dune formations. During spring and autumn migration, flocks of ducks (Tőkés réce , Fütyülő réce , Nyílfarkú réce , Csörgo réce , Böjti réce , Bütykös ásólúd ), waders ( Bíbic , Pajzsoscankó , Piroslábú cankó , Havasi partfutó , Sarlós partfutó ) and Daru can be observed. In summer there are nesting Bíbic, Piroslábú cankó, citrombillegető , sárga billegető , Bütykös ásólúd and Daru here.
You can park on the side of the road close to the observation tower. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Best way to explore the area is by bicycle, but you can go on foot as well.
