Description

In Pentowo there are about 30 Fehér gólya nests in the area. There are also 2 observation towers. After a hurricane in 1991 Fehér gólya started to built nests at the broken tops of trees. After that they moved on to the buildings, electricity poles and even on the top of observation towers they made a nest. There are other excellent birdwatching sites in the area but the storks rule here. The best times to visit are spring and summer, when the young are learning to fly. Other interesting animals living in the area are wolf and moose.
