Description
The reservoir of Osadnik Warta Bolesławiecka is a resting place for water birds, especially different species of gulls, Daru and Nagy póling. The best period for the observations here is August-October. Rare species that can sometimes be found here include Kis lilik, Pásztorgém and Halászsirály.
Important note: there is little point in visiting this place in the middle of the day as there may be very few birds. Observations are best done before sunset or during sunrise. It is best to observe the birds in the southern part of the reservoir.

Access
The reservoir of Osadnik Warta Bolesławiecka is located 10 km southeast of the city of Bolesławiec. There are many roads leading to the reservoir, but their technical condition is rather poor, and in some places an off-road vehicle may be necessary. The best route to the observation site runs from the north and is paved with concrete slabs. Click on the P in the map for directions.
