The Odra is Poland's second-longest river. The floodplains of the Odra next to the Janówek sewage treatment plant are a good area for birding. Among the birds you can encounter are Kerceréce, Nagy bukó, Kis bukó, Nádi sármány, Citromsármány, Sordély, hegyi billegető, Rétisas, Barátposzáta, Fülemüle, Havasi pityer, Kerti geze, Tövisszúró gébics and Sárgarigó.
