Description
The Jezioro Dominickie lake is of importance for many birds. This 384 hectare reservoir is connected by a system of canals with other nearby lakes. Geese (with a predominance of Nyári lúd), Szárcsa and various species of ducks (including Fekete réce and Füstös réce), as well as Északi búvár and Sarki búvár, Búbos vöcsök, Feketenyakú vöcsök, Füles vöcsök and Kis bukó winter in great numbers. Of the birds of prey, it is not uncommon to see Rétisas, sometimes Vándorsólyom.

Access
Observations are best made from the southern side of the lake (also due to sunlight). An unpaved pedestrian and bicycle path runs along the lake shore.
