Bugaj Reservoir is a great place during spring and summer time. There is a breeding colony of Küszvágó csér, kormos szerkő and Dankasirály. Two or three pairs of Barna rétihéja also breed there. It is also a breeding place for Bütykös hattyú, Kis vöcsök, Bölömbika, Barkóscinege, Vízityúk and Búbos vöcsök.
