Description

More than 70% of the Bolimów Landscape Park is covered by forests, which from year to year attract crowds of nature-loving tourists and at the same time are a great escape from everyday life for everyone. The Bolimów Forest hides various types of forests, and you can find here, among others, pine forests, oak-hornbeam trees, birches, ash trees, maples, lindens and oaks. On the other hand, the remaining forest complexes in the park are formed on small areas and often wetlands. Olsy, willow thickets and the characteristic ash and alder riparian forests can be found mainly in very wet areas. All these different habitats attract a variety of birds. Among the birds you can encounter are Lappantyú, Héja, Karvaly, Macskabagoly, Fekete harkály, Kis fakopáncs, közép fakopáncs, fitiszfüzike and sisegő füzike.
