Description
Trettøya is a wet forest area along the river Orkla with a small seasonal lagoon. It is a breeding area for many passerines. Some waders also, like Csigaforgató, billegetőcankó, Szürke cankó and Piroslábú cankó. Also a chance on feeding Daru. Kis lile breed in the area. Other birds you can encounter are Kerti poszáta, Foltos nádiposzáta, Kerti geze, Kanalas réce, Kendermagos réce, Szárcsa, Kerceréce and Csörgo réce.

Access
There is a rough gravel road crossing a metalled bridge from the County road. Several parking possibilities. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point. Observe salmon fishing in the river from June 1st to August 31st. Can cause some traffic and disturbances. No public transport, so bicycle from nearby communities or by car is mandatory. Occasionally and partly flooded.
