The Stabbursnes plateau is situated against the Porsangerfjord. In the north it is bordered by the river Ravttosjohka, in the west by the E6 to the North Cape.

Description

Stabbursnes Reserve has a magnificent view over the Porsangerfjord, with on the other side the rugged vegetation of the plateau. On and above the water you can observe Nagy bukó, Örvös bukó, Pehelyréce, Rétisas, Holló and Ezüstsirály. On the bank, especially on the south side: Vetési lúd, Piroslábú cankó and Fütyülő réce.

Access

Stabbursnes Reserve is located on the south-west side of the Porsangerfjord in the far north of Norway. On the E6, which runs along the Porsangerfjord to the North Cape. You can park at Stabbursnes Naturhus og Museum, where the 5,5 km km long circular walk starts, which is marked in red in the field. Press P on the map for directions to the parking.
