Description
Søndre Bjanes is a beautiful, elevated spot with a view of the Øyeren delta to the west and south. A landscape of fields, trees and bushes makes it a good habitat for birds such as tengelic, Citromsármány and tits. Woodpeckers ( Nagy fakopáncs, Kis fakopáncs, Zöld küllo and Fekete harkály) thrive in the nearby forests. To the east lies the bay Monsrudvika where you may see Szürke gém and in the spring and fall migration: waders and ducks. Note that during mosquito season (after mid May) bugs can be an annoyance.
