Description
Lonåsen is a small village in Tunndalen, at the confluence of the rivers Tunna and Lona, about 13 kilometers northwest of the town of Tynset. The village is surrounded by forest and tundra. I stayed here for a month in the winter months of December and January. I regularly saw woodpecker species such as Nagy fakopáncs but also Háromujjú hőcsik and hamvas küllő. In addition, Grouse such as Havasi hófajd, Nyírfajd and Siketfajd. Finch species such as the Meggyvágó and Süvöltő. Furthermore, many Csuszka, kormosfejű cinege, Zöldike, Zsezse, Fenyvescinege, sárgafejű királyka, Holló and Mezei veréb.

Lonåsen is located 13 kilometers northwest of the town of Tynset. In the general area around Tynset and Lonåsen you have a chance of these sightings, especially in winter.
